Organise any table favours if you are having them, not compulsory, don’t feel that you have to do this… a lot just get left on the table.

If I (Val) am your Marriage Celebrant you will need to get your Notice of Intent to Marry lodged with me no more than 18 months prior to your marrying date and no less than 30 days.   If you are within the 18 month time frame, just get it done and tick the box.. this applies to all Celebrants.

Fill in your Notice of Intent to Marry and have your Celebrant sign and witness or get a JP/Police Officer or other qualified person to witness your signature.  Then lodge with your Celebrant.  Must be received no less than 30 days prior to your Wedding date, your celebrant will remind you, but it is your responsibility to ensure that it is lodged on time.

Closer to your wedding you will be meeting with your Celebrant and discussing your ceremony and preparing you personal vows… this is usually 4-6 weeks prior to your ceremony.  This is usually the time when you are all organised and have your "romantic" head on so as to enable you to compose your vows and decide on ceremony details.

Think of your wedding lead up as a tapestry…we will be adding to it piece by piece and the picture will become clearer and clearer as we add more and more threads to it.

Most importantly, don't forget we are here to help you..   We will put together your running sheet and manage your day for you, so that you can relax and enjoy yourselves...

You will never walk alone :)

Bye for now,
Wishing you all good things for 2021
