All guests, visitors,  suppliers and vendors must check in with QR code and sanitiser before entry and be clear of Covid Symptoms.  All vendors/suppliers must wear masks at all times.

Holiday homes and holiday rentals regulations

​

For a holiday home or short-term rental

• the square metres rules do not apply

• up to 5 people may stay in a holiday home or holiday rental (unless those people are from the same household)

• a gathering at a holiday home or holiday rental is limited to 5 visitors.  If 5 visitors are from the same household another 5 visitors may attend.

​Accommodation bookings at Kookaburra Hideaway and The Woodcutter's Shed 

​

Lead guests will be required to make a declaration prior to checkin stating the number  of guests staying at the accommodation and their contact details that must be readily available if required.

​

Visitors to accommodation on site are only allowed with prior permission from owner and must comply with current Covid 19 regulations.

​

NO  events or parties are to be held at accommodation properties or Wedding Shed without prior consent and proper supervision and stringent Covid 19 regulations adhered to.

​

​

Cancellation policy for accommodation (Kookaburra Hideaway, The Woodcutter's Shed and Wallaby Lodge) and any other areas on our property.

 

All initial and 6 month prior interim booking fees made to hold reservations are non refundable, unless cancelled within 48 hours of the initial booking.

 

If "accommodation only" booking the balance is payable 30 - 60 days prior to arrival depending on booking options. If booked as part of a wedding package then Wedding cancellation policy applies.

 

Cancellations made  30 days or less prior to arrival incur a 100% loss of full price of  booking.

​

In the event of a cancellation due to Covid, the cancellation must relate to a Covid restriction in place at the time of commencement of booking.   Any cancellation made prior may be considered a "change of mind".  If Covid restrictions prevent all guests from staying at Kookaburra Hideaway, The Woodcutter's Shed then there will be an option to move to a future date within 9 months at no extra cost.

If any bookings are made through a 3rd party website such as Airbnb or Homeaway, the booking and cancellation terms and conditions will apply and are completely separate from our terms and conditions.

Weddings and Celebrations in rural NSW

​

All guests, visitors,  suppliers and vendors must check in with QR code and sanitiser before entry and be clear of Covid Symptoms.  All vendors/suppliers must wear masks at all times.

​

You must be seated when consuming alcohol in an indoor area of non-residential premises in NSW. This includes hospitality venues (such as restaurants, pubs and registered clubs) and nightclubs, as well as outdoor gatherings or stadiums.

​

Masks must be worn when inside except when eating and drinking, but must be replaced when finished. Mingling indoors is not permitted.  Walking to the bar and to the bathrooms is permitted, with masks on if indoors.

​

Suppliers/vendors must wear masks at all times, inside or outdoors.

​​

Dancing is allowed at weddings for the bridal party only (no more than 20 people).

Funerals and memorial services are permitted.

Alternatives for weddings in the event of Covid 19 related changes.

​

1. Postpone everything – One postponement allowed for genuine Covid affected case.   

​

Postpone both your ceremony and wedding to a future date based on your current wedding pricing (midweek or weekend), for up to 2 years hence.   

​

​

2. Marry now and Party Later, plus free Commitment Ceremony for your future date.

​

Have an intimate wedding day on the date of your original booking as  per government regulations and save your celebration to a future date when all your invited guests can attend.   Ceremony to be performed by Val Haydon or your original Celebrant and  (Val) will be happy to perform a commitment ceremony free of charge for you with everyone in their bridal attire for your postponed Wedding Reception…or, if you are using a different Celebrant you are welcome to use them. (Subject to Val's availability)

As I have said in previous communications these are difficult and unprecedented times…

Marriage is all about a whole lifetime together… so postponing your wedding, or altering the sequence of events won’t be the end of the world.

​

Love has no boundaries… The most important thing is that couple who love one another are able to show their love in whatever way they can and that we can make it special..

​

In 3-6 months time all of this may well be behind us, but in the meantime we will do  anything we can for you to have your perfect day.. even if it comes in stages… 

​
